Dr. Chalit Wanthakawikran completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois and Nephrology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Chalit was born and raised in Thailand and resides in Laredo.

Born and raised in Mexico, Dr. Cardenas completed his medical education at Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. He did his residency in Laredo at Laredo Medical Center where he served as chief resident and completed his Nephrology training in University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX. Although not a Laredo native, he has made Laredo his home.

Originally from Laredo, Texas, Dr. Snyder completed her medical school training at The University of Texas Southwestern, followed by residency and fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoys treating the community that helped raise her and has a particular interest in transplant nephrology.

Dr. Snyder is the proud mother of two boys and one girl. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family in her spare time.

Originally from Laredo, Texas, Dr. Palacios completed medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center at El Paso after which he completed internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio with a particular focus on interventional nephrology. He returned to Laredo to help serve his home community, from Laredo, for Laredo.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Palacios enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing guitar. 

Born and raised in Sudan, Dr. Abdulaziz completed his medical education at University of Khartoum, where he had the opportunity to contribute to the health education of the underserved population. Realizing the impact of Kidney diseases, he completed his internal medicine residency in Flushing Medical Center in New York, before joining Houston Methodist, where he specialized in Kidney disease and Hypertension. 

When not with his patients, Dr. Abdulaziz enjoy spending time with his wife Alaa, and their two baby boys. 

Dr. Julio Paolo Zavala completed his training at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County/Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL and Nephrology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.  Dr. Zavala was elected member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in 2014 by the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Zavala is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.

Daniela Vaquera, APRN is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and licensed by the state of Texas. Daniela received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2001, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005, her Master of Science in Nursing in 2007 and a Post Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008.

Daniela has over 10 years’ experience with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), dialysis and transplant. She possesses a unique combination of strong nursing and clinical practice skills. Daniela’s utilizes a collaborative approach to empower her patients in self-care management and is actively engaged in the education of her patients.

Valeria Solis was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She graduated from George Washington University in 2020 in Washington, D.C. with a degree in Master's of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Valeria worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Laredo Medical Center for 5 years.

In her free time, Valeria enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
